The Perfect Thanksgiving Turkey 🎞

Recipe:
Brine-
– 10 lb Turkey
– Pot of water
– 1 cup kosher salt
– 1 cup packed brown sugar
– 2 oranges
– 1/3 cup pepper corns
– Fresh Sage, Basil, Thyme, & Rosemary

Season your turkey:
– 2 sticks room temp unsalted butter (+ freshly chopped Rosemary & Thyme
– Onions & Oranges to stuff your turkey
– Season with: Paprika, Seasoning salt, and Adobo

Instructions:
-Fill a large pot with water (leaving room to add your turkey without the water spilling over) Add in your sugar, salt, oranges, and fresh herbs * stir*
– Bring to a boil
– Turn off the heat, and allow your brine to cool COMPLETELY before adding your turkey in (you can do the ice method if you’d like)
– Once your brine has cooled down, add your turkey, cover your pot and let it sit overnight in the fridge (24 hours preferred)
– The next day, rinse your turkey off, pat it down dry, & separate the skin from the meat
-Add your butter mixture under the skin& all over the turkey (don’t forget the bottom of your turkey)
– Season with Paprika, Seasoning salt, & Adobo
– Add your turkey to an oven safe bag (turkey size) I get mine from Target

Bake at 400Β°f for 2 1/2 hours
