Cream Cheese & Strawberry Jam Danishes π
Recipe:
– 1 cup of warm milk
– 2 1/2 tsp yeast
– 1/3 cup of sugar
– 4 egg yolks
– 4 cups all purpose flour
– 2 tbsp sour cream
– 1/2 of salt
– 6 tbsp room temp butter
Filling:
– 2 block room temp cream cheese (16 oz)
– 1/2 cup of sugar
– 1 tbsp vanilla extract
– Jam of your choice
Crumble:
– 1/3 cup flour
– 1/3 cup sugar
– 3 tbsp melted butter
~ 5 tbsp melted butter to brush on final product ~
Bake at 350Β°f for 25-30 min
